Dog Tennis Balls and Pet Balls

Lawn Tennis balls must conform to certain criteria for size, weight, shape, and bounce to be approved for regulation play. According to The International Tennis Federation (ITF) the official diameter of ball should be approximately 6.7 cm (2.63 in.) in diameter. Balls must weigh between 56.0 g and 59.4 g (1.975-2.095 ounces). Colour of balls should be Yellow and white, as this is the only colours approved by the Federations. Most balls produced are greenish yellow. Tennis balls are filled with air and are surfaced by a wooven felt fabric. The felt gives the ball better flight properties.
